The CEA, LIST is with the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) which is a large (15000 researchers ) and pluridisciplinary research organisation since 1945. CEA’s leadership in nuclear science and security and defense is undeniable. CEA, LIST institute developed a large spectrum of knowledges that compose the background of this project. First, chemistry plastic scintillator design knowledge and experience is required to fully exploit the potential of such this technology. Secondly, physical scientist and metrologist expertise is required to build a reference radio-element database. Thirdly, expertise from computer science is required to develop signal acquisition, pre-processing methods and neural network model. Finally, CEA’s capacity to build fully functional prototypes that match to industrial requirements is the key to turn proposed innovative ideas into fully functional devices.
